Pick-ups by luxury coach in Fife, Edinburgh, Glasgow or on route by arrangement.

The featured tours are sample tours and we can construct itineraries to suit the individual group.

Whisky distillery tour: Islay and Jura - Bridgend Hotel
Tour emphasis – the "Water of Life".

Discover the full story of how the distinctive Islay and Jura whiskies are made, with hands-on experience of peat cutting, malt turning and, of course, whisky tasting.

On each of the three full days on the islands you will have the chance to visit three distilleries – one on Jura and eight on Islay, including the recently-opened Kilchoman. Your evenings are free to explore the traditional pubs and restaurants on Islay; evening whisky tastings or other entertainment can also be arranged on request.

Aberdeen AngusAn unforgettable tour with spectacular scenery. Our visits include the beautiful Inverewe Gardens with its fabulous collections; travel the nerve‐jangling old drove road to Applecross and relax over lunch at the famous Inn; visiting the local Heritage Centre with displays of St Maelrubha's early Christian settlement.

Other visits include Gairloch, Loch Maree, Ben Eighe National Nature Reserve, Corrieshalloch Gorge, Shieldaig, and Torridon.

Speyside and Grantown on Spey – Craiglynne Hotel

Clava CairnsExperience the moment when the Highland way of life changed forever in 1746. Live the experience and find out what really happened. We follow in the footsteps of some participants, did they survive? Find out in the new NTS Visitor Centre. Have your camera ready when we take a Ranger walk in the stunning Rothiemurchus Estate.

Other visits include the Clava Cairns, Cawdor Castle, the Clan Macpherson Centre, Highland Folk Museum and Dornoch on the Black Isle.

Dinner, bed & breakfast in the wonderfully situated Craiglynne Hotel. Sun lounge, beautiful gardens, with a fine range of Speyside Malt whisky on offer.

Oban, Seil, Easdale - The Oban Bay Hotel & Spa

Atlantic BridgeA memorable tour. Cross the bridge over the Atlantic, yes you do! Lunch at the Tigh an Truish Inn, or "house of the trousers". This comes from the period after the '45 when kilt wearing was banned. Islanders heading for the mainland (without the bridge) were forced to change into trousers.

Other visits include Crarae Gardens, Dunstaffnage Castle, Ardchattan and St Conan's Kirk.

Dinner, bed & breakfast in Oban's premier hotel, The Oban Bay, with fabulous views over the Firth of Lorn. There is a spa with aromatherapy, sauna, steam room and outdoor hot tub.

Isles of Mull, Iona, Ulva, Staffa – Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa

Ulva FerryThe ever‐popular Mull tour. We explore all parts of this stunning island admiring its scenic grandeur.

We cross to the spiritual Isle of Iona, visit the Abbey, travel by boat to marvel at Fingal's Cave and enjoy a seafood lunch on the Isle of Ulva. Bring your binoculars to spot the huge variety of bird life.

Other visits include "Wings over Mull", Duart and Torosay Castle.

Elgin, Forres & Moray Firth - Eight Acres Hotel & Leisure Club

This area has the highest concentration of Neolithic standing stone circles on mainland Britain – find out why? We investigate the enigmatic Picts, visit the famous Sueno Stone and the Pictish stronghold at Burghead.

We spend time at the eco village of Findhorn and learn about an alternative and spiritual way of life. Go Dolphin spotting in the Moray Firth! We use only DSP accredited operators who adhere to a Code of Conduct. You can be assured that our interest in them will not adversely affect the animals themselves.

Dinner, bed & breakfast in Eight Acres Hotel, just on the edge of the elegant town of Elgin. This hotel has an indoor pool and leisure facilities.

Argyll & The Isles of Bute, Arran and Gigha – Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa

Island HoppingA 'must' for island baggers and archaeologists! We visit Mount Stuart on the Isle of Bute, Brodick Castle and Gardens on the Isle of Arran. Cross by ferry to Gigha where we admire the beautiful gardens of Achamore.

Explore the burial cairns and standing stones of Kilmartin Glen with its excellent interpretative centre and admire the amazing views from Dunadd. Place your foot in the footprint of the Dalriadic Kings, view the Pictish carved wild boar, and cryptic messages in early Celtic script. It was here the Scottish nation was born.

Dinner, bed & breakfast in the comfortable Loch Fyne Hotel which sits on the shores of Loch Fyne. The restaurant specialises in local seafood and has a leisure club with pool.

Pitlochry – Scotland's Hotel & Leisure Club

Glamis CastleOur tour includes a Highland Safari, Glamis Castle, a visit to a crannog on Loch Tay, the stunning views around Killiecrankie, Blair, Pitlochry Theatre, Dunkeld and Birnam with its Beatrix Potter associations.

Dinner, bed & breakfast in Scotland's Hotel, located in the centre of Pitlochry but away from the bustling main street.
